Our Story
Better Impact was launched in 2000 when the company’s founder, Tony Goodrow, saw a bigger future for his passion project of building a web-based volunteer management system for a hospice organization he was serving with. Today, the company maintains the same commitment to strategically amplifying impact through efficient volunteer coordination, but it now serves more than 25,000 customers around the world.
Better Impact’s current CEO Houston Goodwin and President Timothy Sarazen took over in April 2025, about five months after The Brydon Group acquired Better Impact. Better Impact also acquired Galaxy Digital in early 2026 to further expand its volunteer management network and capabilities.
