This is a key step in making use of your trial account. You will learn how to create the necessary elements of your online application form in the software (eg. mandatory agreements, questions, availability, interests, etc.)
You will learn how to create the data fields necessary to track and record the screening steps that your volunteers are completing prior to being welcomed into your program (eg. interviews, orientation, trainings, background checks, etc.).
If you'd like volunteers completing your program trainings/orientation online/virtually, we'll walk through how to create eLearning modules in your trial account!
This is a key step in making use of your trial account. During this lesson we will determine how you'd prefer to have people/profiles exist in your account (eg. you manually add them, have us import fake profiles, etc.) and then take action to making that happen accordingly. Once profiles exist, you will be introduced to the variety of data you can house within a profile.
This is a key step in making use of your trial account. You will learn how to create your unique volunteer opportunities, schedules, and how to share those opportunities with the right volunteer candidates so they can sign up. We'll also walk through the different ways volunteers can be assigned to your shifts/opportunities (eg. manually, self-scheduling).
You will learn how to manage your volunteer program schedule, identify where gaps may exist in your schedule and how to fill them.
It's recommended that you take Lesson #4 (Volunteer Opportunities & Assignments) prior to this lesson or that you have already assigned some volunteers to your roles/shifts in your trial account.
You will learn the various ways your volunteers can log their hours (eg. smartphone, kiosk, their volunteer portal), how you as an Admin can log hours on behalf of volunteers as well as how to set up the system to automatically log hours for your volunteers.
It's recommended that you take Lesson #4 (Volunteer Opportunities & Assignments) prior to this lesson or that you've already created some Activities.
You will learn various ways you can communicate with your volunteers, pinning these communication groups to your dashboard, and creating email templates.
