Qualifications / Qualified for an Activity

Search by Qualifications

Visible only if Qualifications have been created
  1. Go to: People >> Search (or any other menu option that uses the search feature) – Click here and scroll down for a video on all of step 1.
    1. In the “Module and Status Filters” section, select the desired statuses to include in the search.
    2. If you make multiple selections, you can include people that have:
      • Any of the selected modules (This is the default. Just getting started? Leave this one selected.)
      • All of the selected modules (Could be used to find people who are volunteers and administrators.)
    3. In the “Email Filters” section, select the desired option. The default is “Don’t Filter” on email address. This will include all people regardless of whether or not they have an email address.
    4. Click the [Add Search Criteria] button
  2. Select Qualifications from the drop-down list.
  3. Qualification: Select the Qualification you want to use .
  4. Match Type – Choose what you would consider a match – E.G. :
    • Ranked Qualifications (Is equal To, Is greater than or equal to, Is less than or equal to, Is empty, Is not empty)
    • Exact Match Qualifications (Is equal to, Is not equal to, Is empty, Is not empty)
  5. Level: Choose what you want to use in the comparison from the drop-down list (unless of course you selected ‘is empty’ or ‘is not empty’ in step 3)
  6. Expiry Date: If the Qualification has an expiration date associated with it, select the desired match type (Is not currently expired, Is currently expired, Is expired as of, Will expire between dates, Ignore expiry) and enter a valid date value (or range) if you have not selected either “Is not currently expired”, “Is currently expired” or “Ignore expiry” as a match type. By clicking in the date field, you can select a date from the calendar that pops up.
    • Click the [Add] button to add the current search criteria to the list of things to include in the list and leave the screen ready for you to add something else – No search will be run yet.
    • Click the [Add and Go] button to add the current search criteria to the list of things to include in the list and to execute a search. – A search will be run.

NOTE:

Only enterprise-level Qualifications are searchable here.

Search Based on Being Qualified for an Activity

Visible only if Qualifications have been created
  1. Go to: People >> Search (or any other menu option that uses the search feature) – Click here and scroll down for a video on all of step 1.
    1. In the “Module and Status Filters” section, select the desired statuses to include in the search.
    2. If you make multiple selections, you can include people that have:
      • Any of the selected modules (This is the default. Just getting started? Leave this one selected.)
      • All of the selected modules (Could be used to find people who are volunteers and administrators.)
    3. In the “Email Filters” section, select the desired option. The default is “Don’t Filter” on email address. This will include all people regardless of whether or not they have an email address.
    4. Click the [Add Search Criteria] button
  2. Select Qualified for Activity from the drop-down list.
  3. Select to search for volunteers that are either “Qualified for activity” or “Not qualified for activity”.
  4. Category: Select an Activity Category from the drop-down list.
  5. Activity: Select an Activity from the drop-down list. Only Activities from the Activity Category selected above will be displayed.
  6. Select whether to consider only “Active” activities (default), “Inactive” activities or “Don’t Filter”.
    • Click the [Add] button to add the current search criteria to the list of things to include in the list and leave the screen ready for you to add something else – No search will be run yet.
    • Click the [Add and Go] button to add the current search criteria to the list of things to include in the list and to execute a search. – A search will be run.
