Including Classifications on Your Application Form

  1. Log on to one of your organizations
  2. Go to: Configuration >> Organization Settings >> Application Form Settings
  3. In the “Step Two Settings” section for the desired application form, select the Classifications to display on the application form.  Volunteers will be able to check the Classifications that best correspond to their preferences, abilities and interests:
    • Activity Classifications: the specific type of work they would like to do
    • Community Classifications: the geographical area in which they would like to volunteer
    • Duration Commitment Classifications: how long they would like to be a volunteer
    • Organization Classifications: the generic area of work they would like to be involved with
    • Suitability Classifications: to match you up with opportunities that are the most appropriate for you
    • Time Commitment Classifications: how often they can be available to volunteer
  4. Click the [Save] button
